This is an article I wrote for Nichi Bei after the Annual Florin Manzanar Pilgrimage. I have served on the planning committee for this pilgrimage for a few years, mainly in the capacity of coordinating taiko performances for the cultural exchange. Over the years, I’ve come to learn what a special trip this is in actively building solidarity through this cultural memory project.
