This project brought people together from the podcast project together for two weeks to create a theater piece from scratch, in the style of Devised Theater. Two presentations of the workshop (shows) are held on Saturday, August 19 at 8:00pm and Sunday, August 20th, at 2:00pm.

I was invited as a taiko musician but also to do the workshops and perform as an actor/mover. This was a very interesting new experience for me, and allowed me to create with taiko in a new way. Like taiko, projects like this can bring different experiences within Japanese America together to examine complexity and develop new ideas. This whole process has been a lot of fun!
