Did you know that the Davis Cherry Blossom Festival committee also produces a fall event called “Tsukimi?” Tsukimi means “moon viewing,” named after a traditional Japanese observance of the full moon. This mid-autumn festival is also shared by other East Asian cultures. Our festival will bring other taiko groups from the Bay Area and even Southern California to join us in celebration. The event will also feature other Asian American student organizations who will be running booths and performing. The event will have a night market featuring lots of local artisan talent, as well as free, family-friendly activities. There will also be a number of food trucks. Plenty of reason to stop by and celebrate community with us!
